TIERICA BERRY

As an art activist, Tierica has been inspiring young women since 1999. Tierica is the author of several empowerment books including Butterfly Tales, a compilation of poems and stories of transition and resilience for young ladies. In response to invitations from Boys and Girls Club, NAACP, and a host of other organizations, Tierica has traveled across the country sharing her empowering strategies for overcoming challenges, fear, self doubt, lack of motivation, depression and bullying through positive expression. Tierica recently launched Affirmative Expression, an educational program that delivers interactive presentations teaching young ladies how the art of honoring one’s feelings can instantly improve self esteem, confidence, and performance at work or school.
B. BROWN

Barry Brown (B. Brown) is a Music Entertainment Consultant with a background in education. He worked in the Clayton County Public School System (Georgia) as a Teacher & Campus Supervisor for a total of eight (8) years. He has also served as a contracted Public Information Officer with the City of Atlanta, and has served as a mentor for two (2) metro Atlanta Youth Mentoring Programs. B. Brown’s “P.R.E.P. – D.” persona encourages youth, parents, teachers and administrators to make positive choices and to do positive things! B. Brown’s experience as an artist, educator and music entertainment executive gives him a great perspective that allows him to relate to youth and parents of today, and motivate them in a positive and productive manner!
BRANDON BANKS

Brandon is a community organizer, leadership consultant, and also a marketing associate at one of the largest insurance companies in the United States. Driven by his mantra that we hold the pen to write the story of own life, Brandon writes his own story unfazed by the low expectations that are stereotypically associated with someone of his urban background and experiences. Brandon’s story includes a flourishing career, his outstanding civic and charitable work for his employer, his tremendously successful tenure as the President of the Atlanta Chapter of The Morehouse Alumni Association and his dedication to his wife and sons. His urban background together with his corporate experience, community service and leadership gives Brandon a unique message to share with young people, on the importance of networking and leadership in achieving success in spite of ones circumstance.
DR. WILLIE JONES
Dr. Willie Jones has been a school counselor for seven years and has been in the field of education for 13 years. Dr. Jones has a masters in school counseling, a doctorate in school leadership, and is a certified licensed professional counselor. Dr. Jones has worked with at risk youth his entire career and has spent the last two years working strictly with students with emotional behavior disorders. Dr. Jones has been instrumental in creating a climate and environment that is conducive for allowing students to reach their full potential academically, emotionally, and socially. Dr. Jones has served in various leadership positions such as data analysis coordinator, lead counselor, remediation program coordinator, SST(Student Support Team) and RTI(Response To Intervention) chair person, and organized district wide peer mediation programs. Dr. has also presented at several national conventions such as SREB: High Schools and Middle Schools That Works conferences and has also held training and presentations on the county level that include creating Advisor/Advisee programs, creating successful Peer Mediation Programs, and Using Data to Diagnose Student Academic Needs.
